Knowing you need help is not weakness, it’s wisdom.

We are here to support you.

Postpartum Doulas

Postpartum Doulas provide in-home support while your family is adjusting to newborn life. We work day or night shifts, whenever you most need support.

Sometimes called “Night Nurses,” our Postpartum Doulas are unique to other care providers because of their extensive training, experience, and credentials. Several have Nursing degrees and all have years of experience working with newborn babies and their families.

No need to Google your way into more confusion; let us teach you the most trusted techniques in newborn care.

Let one of our experts help you with breastfeeding, bottle feeding, sleep schedules, soothing fussiness, bathing, umbilical cord healing, colic, weaning, and big siblings’ adjustment. We are certified to care for your infant and to teach you how to do the same, using proper, evidence-based information about concerns that keep many parents up at night.

Permit yourself a night off.

Taking a break will allow you to be the mom, wife, caregiver, and employee you want to be the next day. Self-care is not self-ISH; it is one of the best things you can do to preserve your family dynamic and your ability to meet everyone’s needs. (It also feels really good!)

And, while you sleep, allow us to not only provide loving care for your baby; we also are happy to do baby’s laundry, clean your pump and bottle parts, and put your toddler back to bed. If you wish to breastfeed at night, our Postpartum Doulas will bring Baby to you when she’s hungry and then take her away for diaper changes and soothing, putting her back to sleep while you are already clocking in hours of much-needed rest.

Your Postpartum Doula is extremely flexible and stress free.

We are happy to educate you, hang with you, or give you the freedom to run errands, see friends, relax, or take naps. Unlike friends and family, your Postpartum Doula does not have a preferred task or add any tasks to your plate, like setting up the house, preparing bottles ahead of time, or even making conversation, which can feel like a chore when you are completely depleted. She’s truly only here for you. Let her pop in, work her magic, and leave you better than you started.

Did you just breathe a sigh of relief? We thought you might. :)

How does it work?

  • Schedule a free consultation or submit a request for info by email.

  • Get to know the available doulas and discuss a schedule that coincides with your needs.

  • Choose your package (# of hours) to start with and pay a $500 deposit to reserve your Doula. Your start date will still be pending your due date, but you will have a spot in the Doula’s schedule.

  • When the time is right, let the team know you are ready, and start getting the best postpartum assistance you could ask for.
